Actress Yoon Jin-yi Shocked by Friend's Extravagant Private Education Costs

Actress Yoon Jin-yi was taken aback by the hefty private education expenses of a friend.

On the 14th, the YouTube channel 'Real Yoon Jin-yi' featured a video titled 'J's Dopamine-Inducing Birthday Party.' In the video, Yoon Jin-yi celebrated her first daughter J's birthday with family friends at a hotel.

During the video, Yoon Jin-yi engaged in a conversation about private education with a friend, who shared various educational insights. The friend revealed that they had enrolled their child in two early education programs. Yoon Jin-yi expressed her surprise, saying, "Isn't that too expensive?"

The friend admitted, "I invested a lot in my first child. I did everything," adding, "Once you start with private education, it's hard to stop. The tuition fees are around 5 million won per month." Yoon Jin-yi responded, "5 million won a month means 100 million won in two years?" The friend continued, "A friend attending an international school pays around 80 million won in tuition, and with currency fluctuations, it can reach up to 100 million won. That child is in sixth grade and goes to bed at 1 AM. Seeing that, I decided to step back from private education."

Meanwhile, Yoon Jin-yi married a finance professional in 2022 and has two daughters.
