Moon Chae-won Announces Marriage: A Look Back at Her Views on Love

Actress Moon Chae-won's upcoming marriage has brought renewed attention to her past statements about love and relationships.

On the 15th, it was reported by a media outlet that Moon Chae-won is set to marry a non-celebrity in June. Currently, she is busy preparing for her wedding.

In various interviews, Moon Chae-won has shared her ideal type, stating, "I dislike people who lie" and "I prefer someone who doesn't use social media. I feel more comfortable with introverted people than extroverted ones." She also mentioned, "I don't like the 'tsundere' style or bad boys. I find kind and sincere men more attractive."

Moon Chae-won has also been candid about her thoughts on dating. During the promotion of the movie 'Heartman,' she appeared on a YouTube channel and said, "When you're young, it's easy to lose someone you like because you don't know how to date, care for someone, or handle breakups." She added, "After gaining such experiences, I wanted to meet someone I truly like."

Additionally, during her appearance on SNL Korea Season 7 last year, when asked if she had a boyfriend, she replied, "Even if I did, I couldn't say," effectively acknowledging her relationship status.

Considering her consistently expressed views on relationships, this marriage seems to align with her emphasis on 'comfort' and 'authenticity.' Moon Chae-won debuted in 2007 with 'Run, Mackerel' and has since starred in numerous works such as 'Painter of the Wind,' 'Brilliant Legacy,' 'The Princess' Man,' 'Good Doctor,' and 'Flower of Evil.'
