Comedian Lee Yong-joo Resumes YouTube Activities After Overcoming Ban
Comedian Lee Yong-joo is back on YouTube after overcoming a warning and upload ban from the platform.

On the 14th, Lee Yong-joo shared on his social media, "Everyone, the video has finally been restored. We all came together with the spirit of the 'first penguin' to make this happen. Thank you, everyone," along with several photos. The photos showed the restored video and the original video on Lee Yong-joo's YouTube channel. He also expressed his joy by sharing images of Dobby the house-elf from the 'Harry Potter' series being freed from servitude and Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman celebrating her liberation after divorcing Tom Cruise.

Previously, in January, Lee Yong-joo uploaded a video titled '(Emergency Restoration) Pajama Party Surprise Vlog at Sun-min's House' on his YouTube channels 'Pisik University' and 'Yongjureu Lee Yong-joo.' However, on the 10th, he revealed that YouTube had issued a warning for excessive exposure and violation of sexual content policies and community guidelines, resulting in a one-week ban on video uploads.

In response, Lee Yong-joo expressed his frustration on social media, stating, "It's a video of us having fun, but YouTube flagged it as sexual content and banned uploads. Please help." When the ban was not lifted, he posted a video titled 'YouTube Has Suspended Yongjureu Lee Yong-joo Channel, Please Help' on his channels 'Pisik University' and 'Yongjureu Lee Yong-joo,' exposing the unfairness.

In the video, Lee Yong-joo began by saying, "I took the courage to publicize the injustice I suffered from YouTube and expose their wrongdoing." He continued, "This morning, I received a notification from YouTube that the 'Yongjureu Lee Yong-joo' channel was banned for a week due to guideline violations, with a red flag notice. Upon checking, they claimed a vlog contained sexual content, portraying us as cheap and shameless individuals," expressing his frustration.

He added, "This not only tarnished my reputation but also that of comedian Lee Sun-min, who is currently on the rise, and comedian Yoo Young-woo, who is recovering at home after being shocked. Of course, I admit that Yoo Young-woo's physique is poor and Lee Sun-min's muscles are too large. However, we never portrayed any sexual scenes. We earnestly ask you to be our witnesses."
