IU and Byeon Woo-seok Showcase Playful Chemistry in Real Life

Singer and actress IU and actor Byeon Woo-seok displayed their playful chemistry in real life.

On October 12, IU shared a photo on her Instagram story with the caption, "I secretly enjoy running too."

The photo shows IU and Byeon Woo-seok jogging near the Han River. Byeon Woo-seok shared IU's post, humorously stating, "Don't follow me," to which IU responded with a playful jab, "Didn't you say you wanted to date and get married?" accompanied by a heart emoji, catching the attention of fans.

The duo is currently starring in MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama '21st Century Grand Lady.' The series is set in a 21st-century constitutional monarchy in South Korea. It tells the story of Seong Hee-joo (played by IU), a woman who has everything but is frustrated by her commoner status, and Lee An-dae-gun (played by Byeon Woo-seok), a prince who is sad because he cannot have anything, as they navigate their destinies and challenge social status through romance.
