KBS Announcer Lee Hye-seong Joins Elite Donor Society with Generous Contribution
On the 10th, Lee shared on her social media, "I have become the 483rd member of the Honor Society in Seoul," along with several photos. In the released images, Lee attended the event wearing a baby pink ribbon jacket and skirt, exuding an elegant aura with her long straight hair and minimal jewelry.
She expressed, "Though it might seem unreasonable for someone like me, who doesn't even own a house, to participate in such donations, I wondered if there really needs to be a specific time and place for sharing." She added, "I wanted to join as soon as possible during my youthful and passionate years." Lee further mentioned, "The '1% Book Club' is gradually growing with the love of many, and I wanted to return that love through 'books.' My future YouTube earnings will be donated to help children with leukemia and rare diseases build hope through books."
Lee stated, "This donation has motivated me to pursue my YouTube activities even more vigorously," and she pledged to continue showing her dedication, certifying her donation of 100 million won. The Honor Society, which Lee has joined, is a group of individuals who have donated over 100 million won. It is known to include numerous Hallyu stars such as Girls' Generation's Yoona, Girl's Day's Hyeri, IU, Suzy, Im Si-wan, and Seolhyun.
Meanwhile, Lee Hye-seong was selected as a KBS announcer through the 43rd open recruitment but resigned in 2020. She recently gained recognition by advancing to the top 10 in the MBN variety show 'Bake Your Dream.'
