Actress Ha Jae-sook's Husband Rescues Missing Captain in Dramatic Sea Incident

Actress Ha Jae-sook, residing in Goseong, Gangwon Province, shared news about her husband’s heroic actions.

On October 9, Ha Jae-sook took to her Instagram story to reveal, "A few days ago, the captain who went missing due to an accident was found by my husband yesterday, and he brought him back safely." Her husband played a crucial role in bringing the missing person back to shore.

According to Sokcho Coast Guard on October 8, a civilian diver discovered a 70-year-old man, identified as Mr. A, in a state of cardiac arrest at around 2:14 PM. The location was approximately 1 km east of Daepo Port in Sokcho City, at a depth of about 20 meters.

Mr. A was reported missing following a capsizing incident caused by a collision with another vessel.

Ha Jae-sook expressed her sorrow, saying, "I hope such accidents never happen again. Rest in peace in a warm place, Captain." Her words conveyed deep emotion.

Born in 1979, Ha Jae-sook is 47 years old and married a non-celebrity of the same age in 2016. The couple currently resides in Goseong, Gangwon Province, and Ha Jae-sook commutes to Seoul only when she has work commitments.
