Red Velvet's Wendy Tops Poll as Most Desired Female Singer to Enjoy a Spring Performance With

Red Velvet's Wendy has been voted as the number one female singer people want to enjoy a performance with on a warm spring day at Daehangno.

From March 30 to April 5, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female singer would you like to enjoy a performance with on a warm spring day at Daehangno?' Wendy from Red Velvet emerged as the top choice.

Wendy will appear on JTBC's 'Knowing Bros' alongside Kim Jong-seo, Kang Kyun-sung, Lim Jeong-hee, and Kim Jae-hwan. The episode is highly anticipated as it brings together vocalists representing different generations. Kim Jong-seo, a legend in Korean rock music approaching his 40th debut anniversary, Kang Kyun-sung from the ballad group 'Noel,' and diva Lim Jeong-hee are set to showcase their timeless vocal prowess. Wendy, known for her idol-level vocal skills as Red Velvet's main vocalist, and Kim Jae-hwan, who impressed the hosts with his singing ability during his last appearance, are expected to enrich the stage with their powerful high notes.

In second place is Eunice Alicia, who has been selected as a festival headliner for the first time since her debut. Eunice will headline the 'Otaku Pop Fes 2026 in Manila (OPF 2026 Manila)' on April 25 and 26 at Okada Manila in the Philippines. Notably, she is the only K-pop artist among the performers, highlighting her global recognition and competitiveness.

Girls' Generation's Yuri secured the third spot. Yuri is currently starring in the play 'The Wasp,' where she portrays a bold character who uses harsh language while pregnant with her fifth child, showcasing a new acting transformation. 'The Wasp' is a two-person play about the story of two classmates, 'Heather' and 'Carla,' reuniting after 20 years. Recently, Yuri made headlines by revealing on social media that she visited Lee Hyori's yoga studio.
Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which female singer would you like to go spring clothes shopping with?', 'Which male singer would you like to go spring clothes shopping with?', 'Which female trot singer would you like to go spring clothes shopping with?', and 'Which male trot singer would you like to go spring clothes shopping with?'
