Son Seok-gu and Kim Tae-ri Star in Trailer for 22nd Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival

Actor Son Seok-gu (43) is set to star alongside Kim Tae-ri (36) in the trailer for the 22nd Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival.

According to TenAsia's report on the 1st, Son Seok-gu has been cast as the lead in the festival's trailer alongside Kim Tae-ri. The trailer is directed by Koo Kyo-hwan, adding to the anticipation. Although Son Seok-gu and Kim Tae-ri have previously worked together as advertising models in 2023, this marks their first acting collaboration. The combination of these two talented actors with Koo Kyo-hwan's direction is raising expectations for the new trailer.

Last August, the festival gained attention with a trailer directed by Um Tae-hwa, starring Kim Go-eun and Koo Kyo-hwan. This time, Koo Kyo-hwan transitions from actor to director, drawing interest.

Kim Tae-ri is making headlines with her return to the screen, approximately a year after the conclusion of the tvN drama 'Jung Nyeon' in November 2024. Currently, she is showcasing her charm on the tvN variety show 'After School Teacher Tae-ri,' and her role in the trailer promises another character transformation.

Son Seok-gu is gearing up for the release of the Netflix series 'Road,' and fans are eager to see his new acting evolution in this project.

The Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival, which resumed last year after a four-year hiatus, is drawing attention. The festival organizers told TenAsia, "While we can't reveal detailed information before the trailer's release, we ask for your anticipation for the official content."

The 22nd Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival will take place from June 18 to 23.
