K-Pop Star Seo In-young Opens Up About Divorce and Future Love Aspirations

K-pop singer Seo In-young has hinted at the possibility of remarriage.

Recently, a video titled 'Seo In-young Reads Hate Comments After 10 Years (Truth and Lies, Unprecedented Update)' was uploaded on the YouTube channel 'Gae Gwa Cheon Seo Seo In-young'.

In the video, Seo In-young candidly discussed her 'divorce'. She confessed, "I love myself so much that I wondered if I could live a normal life without doing this work. I just wanted to quietly disappear."

Seo In-young married a non-celebrity businessman in February 2023, but they agreed to divorce in November 2024.

Regarding the reason for her divorce, she explained, "A quiet married life where I do nothing doesn't suit me. I realized I need to be out there, engaging with people, because that's the life I've always lived."

While reading negative comments about her divorce, Seo In-young responded to one that said, "Wasn't this expected? You lasted longer than I thought," by saying, "That might be true." She added, "People knew at the wedding that I would get divorced. When I said, 'I'm divorced,' they said, 'Only you didn't know. Everyone thought you'd get divorced at the wedding,'" laughing at the challenging marriage.

Seo In-young shared that she learned from the divorce, saying, "Don't assume that the initial affection will last forever. It can change, but if it changes too quickly, I don't have time to prepare."

Seo In-young revealed, "I've never been without a boyfriend. I can't live without love." She continued, "Even though I've dated a lot, dating is the hardest thing. It doesn't go as planned."

She added, "I try really hard to be good to my boyfriend, but I can't be sure since I haven't heard his side," jokingly. Finally, Seo In-young confessed that she still dreams of love and is considering remarriage.

Meanwhile, Seo In-young recently made headlines by revealing she gained 10kg. She said, "I used to weigh 38kg, but I gained weight from eating. I didn't expect people to be so shocked by my weight gain, but looking back, it was surprising. I've lost the weight now."
