Kang Ye-won Opens Up About Cosmetic Surgery and Personal Life in Latest YouTube Video

Actress Kang Ye-won recently shared updates on her life, including her cosmetic surgery, in a new YouTube video.

On the 30th, Kang Ye-won uploaded a video titled 'Can I Talk About This? MBTI, Dating Views, Ideal Type' on her YouTube channel 'Kang Ye-won'.

In the video, Kang Ye-won revealed, "I started filming a movie in January and have been busy traveling back and forth between Seoul and Busan." She shared her routine, saying, "I am usually the first to arrive on set to absorb the atmosphere. I walk around in character attire because it helps me channel more energy." She added, "Even when filming in the provinces, I blend in like a local and disconnect from the outside world."

Kang Ye-won indirectly mentioned her cosmetic surgery by saying, "People often don't recognize me," referring to her eye surgery reversal. She explained, "It's not that they can't recognize me because of my eyes. Even when I was with other actors during the filming of 'Haeundae', no one recognized us."

Regarding her dating life, she confessed, "I used to prioritize work over relationships, but my perspective has changed this year. I now have a strong desire to find my partner, just like in my 20s."

Kang Ye-won described her ideal partner as "someone I can be grateful for, and who can also be grateful for me," but firmly stated, "I dislike people with different food preferences."

Previously, Kang Ye-won had revealed that she reversed her eye surgery. In 2024, she appeared on the YouTube channel 'No Filter Tak Jae-hoon' and shared, "A close friend saw my old Cyworld photos and said I looked prettier back then, so I decided to revert to my old look." She added, "I had undergone eye surgery, but I reversed it this time."

Born in 1979, Kang Ye-won is 46 years old and debuted in the 2001 drama 'Honey Honey'. After appearing in the 2022 JTBC drama 'Only One Person', she is currently taking a break from dramas.
