Move Salon Festival Season 5: A Community-Driven Celebration in Seoul
Move Salon Festival Season 5: A Community-Driven Celebration in Seoul
The 'Move Salon Festival Season 5', a community-driven festival where citizens become the stars and share their interests, is set to take place on April 11-12 under the Yeongdong 1 Bridge at Yangjaecheon, Seoul.

The highlight of Season 5 is a complete overhaul of the festival's structure. Moving away from the traditional passive format where organizers set up the stage and audiences simply watch, this festival adopts an 'open festival' model. Here, citizens plan their own interest-based gatherings and freely move and interact.

This concept is a reinterpretation of the famous American festival 'Burning Man', tailored to fit the urban setting of Seoul. Move Culture Co., the organizer, provides the foundational system for the festival, while citizen hosts operate their own salons with unique content.

At the festival, various interest-based gatherings will occur simultaneously. Participants can choose salons that interest them and register either in advance or on-site.

Citizens interested in hosting their own gatherings can register their creator profile under the 'Networking' menu on the official Move Salon platform. By indicating 'Salon Festival Participation' in the fifth survey question, they can apply to become a host after a review process.

The event is co-hosted by Move Culture Co. and the Yangjaecheon Street Merchants Association. Detailed festival updates can be found on the official Move Salon Instagram.
