Travel YouTuber Wonji Embarks on Weight Loss Journey Amidst Past Controversy

Travel YouTuber Wonji has committed to a weight loss journey.

On the 25th, Wonji shared a photo on her Instagram story with the caption "Beginning of Hellish Weight Loss." The image shows her working out at a Pilates center, dressed in a leopard print workout set, with a headband that highlights her determination.

Wonji also shared a link to her YouTube channel video titled 'Really Losing It,' hinting at her upcoming body transformation.

Previously, in November last year, Wonji faced the so-called 'Chicken Coop Controversy' after introducing her office on her YouTube channel. The office, located on the second basement floor, was a cramped 6-pyeong space without windows, where three employees had to work. This sparked criticism and concern from viewers, who commented, "It feels suffocating to work here," "Isn't this a chicken coop?" and "It's too poor."

Following the backlash, Wonji issued multiple apologies, stating, "As it's my first office, there seem to be many immature aspects," and promised to "accept the feedback and show improvement in a better direction."

Before the controversy, Wonji had 1.02 million subscribers and gained fame as a travel YouTuber since 2016. She appeared alongside KwakTube and PaniBottle in ENA's 'Earth Marble World Travel' Seasons 1 and 2. In January last year, she announced her surprise marriage.
