K-Pop Star Lee Hye-young Faces Backlash Over Pet Makeup Controversy
K-pop group Lula's Lee Hye-young recently caught attention by sharing her visit to a handbag brand showroom, embracing the spring season with a fresh look.

On the 26th, Lee Hye-young posted several photos on her social media with the simple caption, "Spring!" In the photos, she is seen leaving a flower shop holding three flowers, dressed in neat black slacks and a long-sleeved top.

Additional photos show Lee Hye-young smiling brightly during her visit to the handbag brand showroom. She was accompanied by broadcaster Chae Jung-an, and they both shared photos of themselves with the handbags.

Previously, on the 25th, Lee Hye-young sparked controversy by posting images of her pet dog with makeup applied around its eyes and mouth. A social media user commented, "In my country, posting such videos would be criticized as animal abuse," but Lee Hye-young did not respond and proceeded with her showroom visit.

Veterinary experts warn that applying human cosmetics directly around a pet's eyes can lead to conjunctivitis or corneal ulcers. Lee Hye-young's pet, seen with mascara on its right eye in the video, raised concerns among netizens.

Meanwhile, Lee Hye-young has deleted all comments accusing her of animal abuse.
