HBO Unveils First Teaser for 'Harry Potter' Series on HBO Max
On October 26, HBO Max shared a teaser video for 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' on its official YouTube channel. The video features glimpses of the series' main characters.
The teaser opens with Harry Potter, portrayed by Dominic McLaughlin, living in the cupboard under the stairs at the Dursley household.
The video then shows Harry receiving his acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Hagrid explains the magical world to Harry and mentions his deceased parents. Soon after, Harry boards the Hogwarts Express from Platform 9 3/4, where he meets Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, forming a friendship.
This series is a reimagined drama adaptation of J.K. Rowling's novels. It will be produced in seven seasons, mirroring the original books and films.
Dominic McLaughlin stars as Harry Potter, with Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley.
'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' is set to premiere during the Christmas season this year, exclusively on HBO Max.
