Comedian Seth Herzog Sparks Controversy with Remarks on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'
American comedian Seth Herzog has found himself at the center of controversy following remarks made during a taping of NBC's 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.'

The incident occurred during a pre-recorded session on the 25th of this month. Herzog, who was hosting the event, asked the audience, "Is there anyone here from the North? No one?" Some audience members expressed discomfort, interpreting the comment as racially insensitive.

The remark was intended as an impromptu joke about the audience's place of residence. However, it drew criticism for allegedly trivializing the division of Korea, especially during an episode featuring the popular group BTS. The incident quickly spread across social media.

According to entertainment outlet TMZ, Herzog has since apologized to BTS for the controversy. Network officials have also acknowledged the issue internally and are reportedly in discussions with Herzog regarding the incident.

Some netizens have pointed out Herzog's past social media activity, which they claim included derogatory remarks about Asians, and are demanding a sincere apology.

BTS's appearance on 'The Tonight Show' is set to include both an interview and a live performance.
