Voice Actress Seo Yu-ri Reveals Reason Behind Sharing Divorce Agreement Amid Financial Struggles

Voice actress Seo Yu-ri, who is currently in a public relationship, has explained why she shared her divorce agreement on the 19th.

On the 25th, Seo Yu-ri took to her Instagram story to reveal, "I tried to resolve the debt issue personally, but since he blocked my contact from the start, I had no choice but to make the divorce agreement public."

She continued, "Currently, my family and I are struggling to resolve the remaining debt. Although we are receiving help from those around us, it is not enough to fully resolve the situation." She expressed her hope for a swift resolution.

Previously, on the 19th, Seo Yu-ri brought to light the financial conflict with her ex-husband, PD Choi Byung-gil. On that day, Seo shared a portion of their divorce agreement on social media, asking, "When will I receive it?"

According to the agreement, PD Choi agreed to pay Seo a total of 3.23 billion won as part of the property division by December 31, 2024. The agreement also stipulates that if the payment is delayed, an annual interest rate of 12% will be added starting January 1, 2025.

Seo Yu-ri disclosed the document more than a year past the promised deadline, indicating that PD Choi has yet to fulfill the agreed payment.

Seo has previously appeared on various entertainment shows, confessing that the debt she was left with after the divorce amounts to approximately 2 billion won.

Meanwhile, Seo Yu-ri married PD Choi in 2019 but divorced in March 2024. She announced last June that she is currently dating a legal professional she met through a matchmaking service.
