Actress Moon Ji-in and Comedian Kim Ki-ri Announce Pregnancy to Family

Actress Moon Ji-in and comedian Kim Ki-ri have captured attention by announcing their pregnancy to their family.

On the 24th, the YouTube channel 'Ji-in's Friends' uploaded a video titled 'Finally Told You! (Unbelievable Issue)'. In the video, Moon Ji-in visits her parents to share the news of her pregnancy. She began by saying, "I want you to place your hands on my belly and pray. Otherwise, we might have to go through IVF again."

While her parents closed their eyes to pray for a child, Moon Ji-in placed an ultrasound photo where everyone could see it. After the prayer, her parents opened their eyes, saw the ultrasound, and expressed their joy, asking, "Are you really pregnant? Is it true?"

Kim Ki-ri shared that she is about five weeks pregnant, and Moon Ji-in's mother revealed that she had a dream about her future grandchild before knowing about the pregnancy. She tearfully recounted, "When I was pregnant with you (Moon Ji-in), I dreamt of fresh fruit, and this time I had a fruit dream again." Moon Ji-in also explained to her developmentally disabled brother that he would soon have a niece or nephew, to which he lovingly responded, "I love you, niece/nephew," creating a heartwarming moment.

Previously, Moon Ji-in appeared on SBS's reality show 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny' and shared, "I have a younger brother who is 11 years younger than me. He was born with a developmental disability and has the intelligence of a three-year-old." She expressed her deep affection for her brother, saying, "He is a precious presence that makes me want to do better."

Meanwhile, Moon Ji-in and Kim Ki-ri got married in May 2024. The couple overcame challenges such as miscarriage and IVF, and announced their pregnancy on the 17th, receiving congratulations from many.
