Actor Shim Hyung-tak and Broadcaster Hirai Saya Launch Character Merchandise for Son Haru
Actor Shim Hyung-tak and broadcaster Hirai Saya have announced the launch of character merchandise featuring their son, Haru.

On March 23, Hirai Saya shared the news on her personal social media account, revealing that they would be releasing products inspired by their son, Haru. She mentioned that while drawing has always been a hobby, she was initially hesitant about commercializing her son's likeness. However, the support and encouragement from those who appreciate her and Haru's artwork motivated her to bring this project to life.

Hirai Saya expressed her gratitude, stating, "I hope that through these products, we can connect with everyone." All proceeds from the merchandise sales will be donated to charity. The designs reflect Haru's growth stages, featuring illustrations of his "lion hair" at 100 days old, "long hair" at 200 days, and "boy hair" at 300 days.

The merchandise is currently available for purchase in South Korea, with international sales starting on April 3. Haru has gained public attention through television appearances and has been active as an advertising model, contributing to his growing popularity.

Shim Hyung-tak and Hirai Saya tied the knot in 2023 and welcomed their son in 2025.
