Baek Ji-young Expresses Love for Husband Jung Suk-won Amidst Diet Challenges

Singer Baek Ji-young recently expressed her affection for her husband, Jung Suk-won.

On the 21st, Baek Ji-young's YouTube channel released a video titled 'Baek Ji-young's Favorite Chinese Restaurant Where She Orders 9 Dishes'.

In the video, Baek Ji-young revisited a favorite Chinese restaurant she had been to before. She expressed excitement, saying, "I wanted to come here with my husband," and promptly ordered a variety of dishes, hinting at her signature 'full-course mukbang'.

Jung Suk-won was on a diet in preparation for filming. Baek Ji-young explained, "My husband is on the third day of his diet and isn't in a good mood. He usually doesn't eat regular meals." Jung Suk-won shared, "I lost weight from 91-92kg to 87kg, but I need to lose more to reach 81kg."

Despite this, Baek Ji-young was persuasive. She insisted, "You have to try this," and eventually, nearly nine dishes were served. She continued to order more, saying, "If you eat this, you'll miss that, and they go well together."

During the meal, Jung Suk-won reminisced about their dating days, saying, "Even if I stayed up for 2-3 days due to filming, I would visit her for just 30 minutes at dawn." Baek Ji-young humorously added, "Now, I'd probably ask, 'Why did you come?'" reflecting on their relationship's evolution.

The couple candidly discussed their food preferences and married life. Baek Ji-young mentioned, "It's best when we like the same food," while Jung Suk-won added, "I'd feel sorry if the food I made wasn't good."

When Jung Suk-won asked, "If you could go back to your 20s with your current memories?" Baek Ji-young replied, "I'd still be a singer and meet my husband again. I'd want to meet him sooner." In a romantic moment, Jung Suk-won humorously noted, "I was in fourth grade then," causing laughter.

Meanwhile, Baek Ji-young married actor Jung Suk-won, who is nine years her junior, in June 2013, and they have a daughter named Jung Ha-im.
