On the 20th, the YouTube channel 'Kim Young-chul Original' released a video titled 'Why Did Kim Young-chul Cry After Being Rejected Multiple Times at Restaurants in London? (The Reality of European Travel)'.
On this day, Kim Young-chul faced multiple rejections while trying to have dinner. He lamented, "Why is it so hard to get a meal? It's raining, I'm hungry, and it's so cold. If I get rejected at this restaurant too, I'm just going back to the hotel."
After finally securing a spot at a restaurant he had enjoyed on his first day, he smiled and said, "It's so happy to have a memorable restaurant to take away."
Kim Young-chul embarked on a $400 round-trip first-class train journey to Bath, known as the city of Jane Austen. He expressed disbelief, saying, "It's hard to believe seeing a city I've only seen in pictures with my own eyes," as he enjoyed the AI-recommended travel course.
While traveling around, Kim Young-chul noted, "The air is so cold it makes my hands numb," expressing his struggles with the frequent rain and chilly weather. He met a close friend, who is also a friend of singer Hwangbo, and remarked, "It's colder without ondol (Korean floor heating). The cold in England chills you to the bone."
Kim Young-chul participated in his final English class in London, encouraging himself by saying, "I studied hard until the end in England."
Unexpected challenges continued in Greenwich, near London. The path to the observatory was steeper than anticipated, and it rained. Kim Young-chul joked, "I came to see stars but almost ended up seeing nothing," yet couldn't hide his exhaustion.
While on the London Eye, overlooking the city's nightscape, Kim Young-chul confessed, "Many events in London flash before my eyes," revealing his sentimental feelings.
On his last day before returning home, Kim Young-chul attempted to visit a famous restaurant and jog in the park but ultimately gave up, saying, "It's too cold," bringing a bittersweet smile.
Concluding his 8-night, 9-day language study in London, Kim Young-chul shared, "It was truly a fulfilling time filled with laughter and tears. I got to learn British English properly and regained my confidence in English."
