Singer Lim Chang-jung Surprises Wife Seo Ha-yan with Heartfelt Birthday Celebration

Singer Lim Chang-jung touched hearts by surprising his wife, Seo Ha-yan, during her birthday week.

On the 20th, Seo Ha-yan's YouTube channel featured a video titled 'A Birthday Vlog Full of Unexpected Moments.'

In the video, Seo Ha-yan mentioned, "My husband said he doesn't have any schedules and will have dinner at home," as she prepared a pot rice dish. Lim Chang-jung, appearing in his underwear, reheated the undercooked rice in the microwave, prompting Seo Ha-yan to joke, "A rice cooker would have been better," bringing laughter.

What Surprise Did Lim Chang-jung's Fans Prepare?

Lim Chang-jung's fans prepared a surprise event for Seo Ha-yan. While preparing seaweed soup and other dishes, Lim was startled by the security system's alert and checked outside, only to find fans gathered. He humorously remarked, "I thought it was a burglar," and sighed in relief.

As fans busily decorated the gate with ribbons and birthday messages and prepared gifts, Lim jokingly expressed jealousy, saying, "I'm jealous. Do it just for me," but also showed gratitude, saying, "My wife will love it."

Seo Ha-yan, witnessing the event organized by her husband's fans, expressed her emotions, saying, "With about 10 minutes left until my birthday, my husband's fans gave me a huge gift like Santa. It was a very, very happy birthday."

How Did Seo Ha-yan Celebrate Her Birthday Party?

Heading to the location where fans were waiting, Seo Ha-yan, feeling shy about her casual attire, soon embraced the cheerful atmosphere with a bright smile. Fans sang the birthday song, and Seo Ha-yan repeatedly expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you."

Lim Chang-jung and Seo Ha-yan celebrated at a no-kids-allowed teppanyaki restaurant. Seo Ha-yan joyfully remarked, "What a luxury. Can I cry?" During the continued birthday week celebrations, Lim became a gift himself, presenting a large bouquet.

Seo Ha-yan was moved, saying, "My husband is the gift and the flower," while Lim sang the birthday song multiple times, celebrating Seo Ha-yan's birthday and enjoying a happy time together.

Meanwhile, Lim Chang-jung and Seo Ha-yan overcame an 18-year age difference and married in January 2017. The couple has two sons together and is raising a total of five sons, including three from Lim's previous marriage.
