Kim Eui-young Tops Poll as the Most Adorably Jealous Female Trot Singer
From October 12 to 18, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer would be the cutest when jealous?'
Kim Eui-young secured the top spot. She debuted as a trot singer after finishing in the TOP 5 on TV Chosun's 2020 show 'Miss Trot 2.' In May of last year, she released her fourth single 'STARTrot PART.1,' produced by Kim Hyung-seok. The title track 'Do Whatever You Want' is a bright and lively dance trot song that showcases Kim's refreshing charm.
Singer Jeon Yu-jin came in second. On the 745th episode of KBS2's 'Immortal Songs,' aired on September 21, she reinterpreted Seol Woon-do's classic 'Samba Lady' in her own style. A participant of the Pohang Beach National Song Festival, she debuted in March 2020 with the digital single 'Would You Love...?'
In third place is singer Yoyomi. Debuting in 2018 with the single album 'First Story,' Yoyomi is known by nicknames such as 'Happy Virus,' 'Singing Fairy,' and 'Yomi Yomi Yoyomi.' The daughter of singer Park Si-won, she revealed that she dreamed of becoming a singer after listening to Hye Eun-i's 'The Third Han River Bridge' in the car after her father's concert at the age of seven.
Currently, TenAsia's website is hosting polls on topics like 'Which female singer would you like to go spring clothes shopping with?' and 'Which male singer would you like to go spring clothes shopping with?' as well as similar polls for trot singers.
