Rain Opens Up About Life Changes After Marriage on 'Salon Drip'
On the 17th, the YouTube variety show 'Salon Drip' featured actor Rain, Kim Moo-yeol, and WINNER's Lee Seung-hoon in an episode titled 'Fight, Fight, Our Side Wins!'.
During the episode, Rain, Kim Moo-yeol, and Lee Seung-hoon shared behind-the-scenes stories from filming the ENA variety show 'Crazy Tour'.
Upon arriving at the location, the trio had to immediately dive into water as part of a mission, with no proper changing facilities available, forcing them to change clothes hastily behind bushes. Rain commented, "This is truly crazy," while Kim Moo-yeol and Lee Seung-hoon admitted the challenge was far more intense than expected.
Rain explained, "I used to enjoy thrills when I was younger, but as I age, I tend to avoid dangerous things. Having a family makes me think of my loved ones back in Korea. It's genuinely scary, and even with safety training, I consider the worst-case scenarios," revealing how becoming a father of two daughters has changed his mindset.
Lee Seung-hoon, known as the 'Kkondae Hunter', shared a heartwarming story about Rain treating them to delicious meals out of his own pocket. Rain humorously added, "Kim Moo-yeol didn't even exchange money. He said, 'You do it. You have a lot of money. Treat us.'"
Rain explained, "I used to be a dancer, and I made a promise to myself back then. If I ever made a lot of money, I would take everyone with me. So, the food expenses are quite high," he admitted. However, he added, "If everyone eats packed lunches, I eat packed lunches too. Eating together is our team rule."
The conversation also touched on family reactions. When Jang Do-yeon asked, "How do you think your family will react when they watch the show?" Rain replied, "I think they will really like it. They enjoy everything I appear in."
'Crazy Tour' is a spin-off program based on the world of ENA's flagship travel variety show 'Earth Marble World Tour'. It focuses on extreme missions and high-intensity experiences rather than sightseeing and relaxation, featuring Rain, Kim Moo-yeol, Pani Bottle, and Lee Seung-hoon.
Meanwhile, Rain married actress Kim Tae-hee in 2017, and they have two daughters together.
