Actress Moon Ji-in Announces Pregnancy, Expecting Baby in August

Moon Ji-in has announced her pregnancy and is expecting to give birth in August.

On the 17th, Moon Ji-in shared on her social media, "It feels like just yesterday that I announced my marriage, and now, in our third year, we are becoming parents. We are no longer two, but three."

Moon Ji-in revealed, "We briefly met our baby, whom we will meet in August, shortly after our marriage, but had to say goodbye. Since then, it has been a long wait for me." She mentioned her past miscarriage and added, "I put aside my favorite activities like work, soccer, and YouTube, and despite many efforts, time seemed to stand still for a part of my life." She continued, "During a time of confusion due to repeated failures, I am so grateful that our baby found its way back to us," hinting at a natural conception.

Reflecting on her journey, Moon Ji-in said, "Looking back, the difficult process was a precious journey to meet our baby again. Without those times, it might have been less challenging, but we wouldn't have met with such earnest and affectionate feelings." She added, "We are preparing for the new beginning as a family of three. Above all, we will strive to be the best parents and create a healthy family." She also expressed gratitude to friends who supported her, saying, "I am deeply thankful to all the friends who cried with us and prayed for us. I will also pray for all families waiting to meet their precious ones soon."

Moon Ji-in also shared an ultrasound photo. Moon Ji-in and Kim Ki-ri are seen happily holding the ultrasound image of their baby. The photos, which previously featured just the two of them, now show them as a family of three.

Her agency stated, "Moon Ji-in and Kim Ki-ri experienced the pain of a miscarriage shortly after their marriage. They continued with various efforts, including IVF treatments, but it was not an easy journey. During a moment of letting go, a precious new life naturally came to them."

Moon Ji-in married comedian Kim Ki-ri in May 2024. The couple shared their newlywed life on the SBS variety show 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2.'
