Voice Actor Nam Do-hyeong's Annual Pilgrimage to Cheongnyeongpo Gains Attention Amid Wedding News
On the 8th, Nam Do-hyeong shared a video on his Instagram with the caption, "The reason I visit Cheongnyeongpo, the exile site of King Danjong, for 15 years."
The video features a segment from his YouTube channel, where Nam Do-hyeong reveals that he learned about King Danjong's story while narrating the tbs 20th-anniversary special documentary drama 'Seoul, Walking 600 Years.'
He stated, "After the recording, I visited Cheongnyeongpo properly," and has been going there every year since January 1, 2011. Nam Do-hyeong shared, "I cried a lot during the recording and also when I visited. The first thought that came to mind upon arriving at Cheongnyeongpo was 'desolate.' I cried as soon as I got there. I remember feeling heartbroken thinking, 'How could someone live in such a place?' especially when it rained, as it seemed dangerous."
Nam Do-hyeong is a member of the 32nd class of KBS Voice Actor Association. He is known for his roles as Akaza in the animation 'Demon Slayer,' Rocket Raccoon in 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' Moomin in 'Moominvalley,' and Peter in 'Wedding Peach.' He also gained popularity through his narration in the Netflix original variety show 'Black and White Chef' series and SBS's 'Animal Farm.'
He is set to marry a non-celebrity in May. On the 16th, Nam Do-hyeong announced on his social media, "The bride is a non-celebrity, so I am cautiously sharing the news," adding, "I will continue to greet you with sincere and good voice acting activities."
