The exhibition is organized to commemorate BTS's upcoming fifth studio album 'ARIRANG' comeback on the 20th. The museum has curated the exhibition with a time capsule filled by BTS themselves, along with videos of their past speeches. This time capsule, presented by BTS as youth representatives at the first Youth Day ceremony in September 2020, was given to then-President Moon Jae-in and later donated to the museum. It contains items symbolizing BTS's music, youth, and their fans.

A museum representative told TenAsia, "The time capsule, originally displayed on the fifth floor, has been moved to the third-floor multipurpose hall for this exhibition. We aim to attract both domestic and international visitors in line with the 'ARIRANG' comeback events happening throughout Seoul."

The BTS time capsule is set to be opened on the 20th Youth Day in 2039, 19 years from now, as the legal age of youth begins at 19 according to the Youth Basic Act. The museum has invested approximately 20 million KRW in creating new exhibition walls, graphic design, and lighting for this event. Visitors can view the time capsule and related videos during the exhibition period.

BTS will perform a full-group comeback show at Gwanghwamun Square on the 21st, with over 200,000 fans expected to attend. ARMYs from around the world are gathering in Seoul to witness this monumental event.
