Korean Broadcaster Park Ji-yoon Dazzles in Shanghai with Wanghong Makeup Amid Personal Turmoil

Korean broadcaster Park Ji-yoon recently showcased her stunning Wanghong makeup look during a trip to Shanghai, following her achievement of reaching her lowest weight.

Park Ji-yoon shared on her Instagram, "I was hesitant to post these photos because many celebrities' pictures are so amazing, but an article came out, so here are the results of my Wanghong experience." She added, "During my Shanghai trip, a local friend booked this as an early birthday event for me. Before I knew it, I was taking photos. Although these are AirDropped photos, I really like them."

She continued, "My friend mentioned that even Chinese friends visiting Gyeongbokgung Palace in Korea always try on hanbok. I also enjoyed this cultural experience, meeting Korean tourists and taking commemorative photos. It was a delightful moment (though it became a tourist attraction). Please enjoy these beautiful memories I received as an early birthday gift."

In the photos, Park Ji-yoon captivates in a red hanbok amidst traditional Chinese architecture and gardens. She stands on stone steps in a sunlit garden, lifting her long sleeves slightly, with a red hairpiece adding to the traditional ambiance. Another photo shows her smiling with a red fan in hand, surrounded by vibrant street life and traditional multi-story buildings. In another shot, she turns back with a red fan, her long black hair flowing, and in the final image, she holds a white rabbit in front of a traditional building, smiling at the camera.

Fans commented, "Wow, she's truly beautiful," "Always supporting you," "So pretty," "Everything suits Ji-yoon," and "Red looks perfect on her."

Meanwhile, Park Ji-yoon is currently undergoing a divorce from Choi Dong-seok after 14 years of marriage, which has shocked many. The couple, who have a son and a daughter, met as colleagues at KBS in 2004 and married in 2009 after four years of dating. However, in October 2023, they filed for divorce mediation.

The Jeju District Court dismissed both Park Ji-yoon's lawsuit against Choi Dong-seok's acquaintance for damages and Choi Dong-seok's similar lawsuit against Park Ji-yoon's acquaintance. The court found it difficult to acknowledge any extramarital relationships or hold anyone liable for damages, thus rejecting both civil lawsuits.
