Lim Young-woong Tops Poll as Most Desired Trot Singer to Share a Hot Pack With During Cold Snap
From March 5 to 11, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which male trot singer would you like to use a hot pack with during a cold snap?' Lim Young-woong emerged as the top choice.
According to Billboard Korea, Lim Young-woong has also made it onto the 'Billboard Korea HOT 100' chart for the second week of March, marking his 15th consecutive week on the chart. Additionally, as of March 13, Lim Young-woong's cumulative streaming count on the music platform Melon surpassed 13.5 billion streams, overtaking BTS's previous record and setting a new high in this category.
In second place was Song Min-jun. The singer's fan club, 'Daehan Min-jun,' donated to his hometown of Jincheon County on March 12 to commemorate his birthday on March 14. This donation was made voluntarily by fans to celebrate the singer's birthday meaningfully and to participate in positive influence. Song Min-jun himself participated in the hometown love donation initiative last year, demonstrating his love for the region. His fans continue this spirit of giving, creating a virtuous cycle of sharing.
Kim Joong-yeon took third place. In January, he was selected as the model for the regenerative cosmetics brand Theodora. As the official model, Kim Joong-yeon is expected to participate in brand campaigns and various content. The brand stated, "Kim Joong-yeon's bright and positive image aligns well with Theodora's premium regenerative cosmetics concept," adding that they plan to enhance brand credibility through him.
