Kim Eui-young Tops Poll as Most Desired Trot Singer to Share a Hot Pack With During Cold Snap
From October 5th to 11th, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer would you like to use a hot pack with during a cold snap?' Kim Eui-young emerged as the winner.
Kim Eui-young, a graduate of Daejeon Arts High School, continued her studies at Chung-Ang University's Department of Traditional Arts. She debuted as a trot singer and gained a strong fanbase after finishing in the top five on TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 2'. Judge Jo Young-soo praised her versatility, stating, "She seems capable of handling various genres beyond trot." Kim Eui-young continues to be active, appearing on shows like 'Miss Trot 2' and 'Immortal Songs'.
Kim Da-hyun secured the second spot. On October 7th, she successfully concluded her first solo national tour concert at Kyung Hee University's Peace Hall in Seoul. Following the concert, she expressed her gratitude on social media, saying, "Thank you to everyone who filled the Peace Hall for my solo tour concert 'Dream'. I'm so happy it went well and that I could share my heartfelt performance. Let's stay together forever, my fans! See you in Busan and Daegu. Kim Da-hyun's dream continues."
Tied for third place were Kim Yeon-ji and Yo-Yo-Mi. Kim Yeon-ji made headlines with the announcement of her return with the group SeeYa for their 20th anniversary, marking their first full reunion in 15 years. A SeeYa representative stated, "The members were moved to tears in front of the fan-gifted advertisement on the anniversary day. We will repay the fans' sincerity with high-quality music that embodies SeeYa's authenticity."
Yo-Yo-Mi appeared on KBS 1TV's 'Morning Yard' on October 9th, where she candidly shared her thoughts on dating. She remarked, "The production team seemed concerned about my dating life since I said I wasn't dating. I thought it might be time to meet someone, so I came on the show. I've never been on a blind date, and this is my first time. I like someone who is kind and sexy when focused on work."
