Jinyoung from GOT7 showcased his strong bond with the group members on the YouTube show 'Salon Drip'.

On the October 10th episode of 'Salon Drip', Jinyoung appeared alongside Kim Min-ju to promote their new JTBC drama 'Shining'.

During the show, both actors discussed why they use their real names professionally. Jinyoung recalled being given the stage name 'Junior' during his time at JYP Entertainment. He shared, "Since I shared the same name as JYP's Park Jin-young, he called me 'my junior' and gave me that name," reminiscing about how honored he felt at the time. However, his perspective changed over the years.

Jinyoung explained, "As I got older, I started to have doubts about continuing with the name 'Junior'," leading him to revert to his real name. When Jang Do-yeon jokingly suggested, "Why didn't you ask him to use 'Senior' instead?" Jinyoung burst into laughter.

Kim Min-ju also shared the practical reasons for using her real name, stating, "The name Min-ju is hard to search for because it often brings up results related to democracy or political parties." Jinyoung chimed in, "I face similar issues with my name, often getting results about different factions," causing laughter.

The conversation also touched on sibling relationships. Kim Min-ju mentioned Choi Ye-na, whom she considers her second closest friend after Kwon Eun-bi, and praised Ye-na's brother for his kindness, saying, "He's an angel. When we visit, he grills corn for us." She candidly added, "My own brother would probably stay in his room if my friends came over. We mutually prefer it that way."

Expressing affection for her younger sister, Kim Min-ju said, "I don't have many friends outside of my group, so my sister keeps me company during breaks." She added, "I save my brother's name as his real name on my phone, but use a nickname for my sister. At home, we rarely use 'brother' as a title and often omit subjects in our conversations," highlighting their sibling chemistry.

Meanwhile, Jinyoung shared behind-the-scenes stories about conflicts with GOT7 members during their active years. He recounted, "There were playful nudges during choreography that gradually became more intense. It escalated as the person hit would retaliate harder, and it kept growing."

He even mentioned instances where they would grab each other by the collar in the broadcasting station's restroom but would perform on stage as if nothing happened. However, these conflicts never lasted long. Jinyoung noted, "We would resolve things within an hour. After all those fights, we have no reason to argue now and have grown closer, like family."
