K-pop icon Lee Hyori and her husband Lee Sang-soon recently made headlines by revealing on a television show that their physical intimacy has decreased over time.

On the October 8th episode of SBS's 'My Heart is Mongle Mongle - Mongle Counseling Center,' the couple, who have been married for 14 years, hosted a counseling session for young adults with developmental disabilities who are eager to experience romance but lack opportunities.

During the episode, Lee Hyori and Lee Sang-soon read a postcard from a participant expressing a desire for affectionate physical contact with someone they like. The postcard read, "I want to experience physical affection with someone I like, in a tender way."

Upon reading this, Lee Hyori candidly remarked, "It's been so long since we've had physical affection, can we really mentor them?"

The couple, who married in 2013, lived in Jeju Island for about 11 years before relocating to a standalone house in Pyeongchang-dong, Seoul, in 2024. The property is reportedly valued at approximately 6 billion KRW (around 60 million USD).
