Park Bom Shares Update Amidst Controversy with Former 2NE1 Member Sandara Park

Park Bom, a member of the former girl group 2NE1, has shared a calm update following recent controversies.

On the 6th, Park Bom posted a photo on her Instagram with the caption "Park Bom❤️."

In the photo, Park Bom is seen wearing a gray top and heavy makeup, staring directly at the camera. Her focus on her own image drew attention, especially after she had previously targeted fellow member Sandara Park.

Earlier, on the 3rd, Park Bom mentioned Sandara Park in a handwritten note on her social media. She claimed, "Park Sandara was caught with drugs, and to cover it up, they made me out to be the drug addict," referencing the 2010 controversy over the import of Adderall.

She explained, "I'm cautious about causing another uproar, but the drug known as Adderall bothers me. It's not a drug," and revealed, "I am an ADHD patient."

She added, "I hope YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun-suk, Teddy, and CL do not report to the authorities that 'Park Bom used more than the prescribed amount' of drugs, which I haven't used in almost 30 years."

In response, Sandara Park stated the next day, "I have never done drugs. I hope she (Park Bom) stays healthy," and unfollowed Park Bom's Instagram account. Park Bom then deleted her post raising drug allegations, only to repost it two days later with the caption "A letter to the public."

Meanwhile, 2NE1, which debuted in 2009, celebrated its 16th anniversary this year. Although they disbanded in 2016, they reunited in 2024 for a world tour to connect with fans globally.
