Singer Yoo Eun-sung Shares Positive Update Amid Brain Cancer Battle

Singer Yoo Eun-sung has shared an update on his ongoing battle with brain cancer.

On October 3rd, Yoo Eun-sung took to Instagram to post several photos with the caption, "Visited Samsung Hospital again with a nervous heart..."

The photos reveal Yoo Eun-sung visiting the hospital with his wife, actress Kim Jung-hwa. Yoo shared, "The professor said, 'The MRI shows no changes, so there's no need for treatment. Just continue to live well,'" expressing his relief and joy. He added that his next hospital appointment is scheduled for five years later.

Yoo Eun-sung further commented, "I'm okay," and humorously added, "The tumor seems to be behaving well. I'll try to get along with it."

Yoo Eun-sung was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2023. His wife, Kim Jung-hwa, whom he married in 2013, revealed on a broadcast in 2024, "Last year, my husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Recently, tumors were found in two other places. I hope my hardworking husband can now focus on his health."
