Korean Entertainer Lee Hong-ryeol Pays Heartfelt Tribute to Late Comedian Jeon Yoo-seong
On March 1st, Lee shared several photos on his Instagram with the caption, "I came to see Jeon Yoo-seong hyung."
The photos show Lee visiting the site where Jeon Yoo-seong is laid to rest on the day of the Korean Independence Movement Day. Lee expressed his longing for the late comedian, saying, "Whenever I had work near Jeonnam, visiting Jeon Yoo-seong hyung and staying for a day or two was a great joy."
Lee continued, "It's hard to believe he's not here anymore," adding, "My brother-like hyung! I really miss you."
Jeon Yoo-seong passed away on September 25th last year at the age of 76 due to complications from pneumothorax while hospitalized. He had been suffering from pneumonia and the aftereffects of COVID-19. Despite undergoing surgery to remove part of his lung, his condition worsened.
Lee Hong-ryeol, born in 1954, is currently 71 years old. He debuted in 1979 with TBC Radio's 'Gayo Daehangjin' and has been actively working as a comedian, actor, and MC.
