Previously, Young-sook revealed on Instagram, "I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in January and have been visiting various hospitals (currently undergoing my nth biopsy and still waiting). I'm preparing for surgery while checking for metastasis. I've been feeling more fatigued and less energetic than before, and it's been challenging to have long conversations. My neck was very swollen, so I went to the hospital for an ultrasound and biopsy."
Young-sook met Young-chul on 'I Am Solo' in 2022, and their relationship blossomed into marriage. They now have a son and a daughter, enjoying a happy family life. Many viewers continue to send their support and well-wishes to Young-sook during this time.
