Singer DinDin Expresses Regret to Actor Lee Joon Over 'Workman' Incident

Singer DinDin has expressed his regret to actor Lee Joon.

On the 27th, the YouTube channel 'DinDin is DinDin' released a video titled 'After the Workman Incident... Lee Joon Gets Hit by DinDin Again'.

In the video, Lee Joon shared, "When younger people ask me what they should do, I always tell them to do what they love the most," adding, "Right now, I find variety shows the most fun. It's more enjoyable than acting." He explained, "When acting becomes a profession, the pressure increases. After finishing a project, I get so immersed that I feel physically ill."

Regarding KBS2's '2 Days & 1 Night', Lee Joon described it as "a really tough program" but added, "I'm happy because of the members." The two discussed the unique trust among the '2 Days & 1 Night' members. Lee Joon mentioned, "We have an MOU among the members. It's hard to talk about others on variety shows, but we trust each other, so we can speak freely."

DinDin jokingly said, "I'll reveal your girlfriend," to which Lee Joon humorously responded with, "You little..." and laughed, "He makes up stories, but people believe him." He clarified, "We never deal with facts."

Reflecting on the controversial 'Workman' shoot, DinDin said, "Joon is an icon of hard work, but suddenly he was portrayed as an icon of luxury, which made me feel bad." Lee Joon recalled, "My mother worked day and night at a restaurant to send me to school, and when I was at the Korea National University of Arts, I had to sew my dance tights to get by." DinDin expressed his regret, saying, "It must have been frustrating for someone like him to be labeled as having a luxury image."

Lee Joon revealed that he has been continuously working on projects since 2013 but has recently decided to slow down intentionally. He explained, "After finishing a project, I feel physically ill because I get so mentally immersed."

He humorously noted, "Interestingly, the directors I've worked with tend to succeed in their next projects," mentioning successful works like 'When the Camellia Blooms' and 'Queen of Tears' that followed his collaborations.

Lee Joon also shared, "There are times when the projects I turned down become huge hits," adding, "Among my peers, I haven't done many romance projects. There was a time when I deliberately avoided them due to a 'celebrity syndrome,' thinking I didn't need popularity. I regret it a bit now and want to try romance roles suitable for my age, aiming for my 40s," he laughed.

Finally, Lee Joon expressed, "These days, I'm happier than ever." He added, "It's not that I dislike people, but I get drained easily, so I find comfort in being alone." However, he noted that through '2 Days & 1 Night,' he has become more cheerful and his feelings of depression have improved.
