Shin Dong-yup's Daughter Attends Seoul National University: A Proud Moment for the Family

Shin Dong-yup's daughter, Shin Ji-hyo, recently attended the entrance ceremony at Seoul National University, marking a significant milestone for the family. Shin Dong-yup, who married PD Sun Hye-yoon in 2006, has two children: daughter Shin Ji-hyo and son Shin Ki-wan.

On the 26th, Shin Ji-hyo shared two photos on her Instagram story with the caption, "Quickly snapped while no one was around..!" The photos captured her at the entrance ceremony of Seoul National University, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year, adding more significance to her admission.

Shin Ji-hyo, who majored in ballet at Sunhwa Arts High School, gained attention when she was accepted into both Seoul National University and the Korea National University of Arts. She chose to pursue her studies in the Department of Physical Education at the College of Education at Seoul National University. This marks the beginning of her journey as a freshman there, and she joins her mother, Sun Hye-yoon, an MBC PD who graduated from the same university's Department of German Education, as an alumna.

In the web variety show 'Jjanhanyoung Shin Dong-yup' released on the 16th, guest Lee Yong-jin congratulated Shin Dong-yup, saying, "Congratulations on your daughter going to university." He mentioned that the news of Shin Dong-yup's eldest daughter being accepted into Seoul National University had become a hot topic. Lee Yong-jin added, "I was reading the article and thought, 'I must tell Dong-yup when I see him.'" Shin Dong-yup responded with a pleased expression. Lee Yong-jin, who is also a parent, shared, "Now that I have children, I hope they do well even more than myself," expressing his empathy as a parent.
