Former SBS Announcer Kim Soo-min Shares Her Struggles with Language in the U.S.
On the 25th, Kim posted a brief message on her Instagram story, saying, "I don't know. Mom gives up," accompanied by a photo.
The photo shows an open book, which appears to be a children's storybook. It seems Kim was attempting to read a Japanese storybook to her son, as indicated by the use of the word 'mom.' However, after trying to interpret the words by writing them down, Kim eventually declared her surrender.
Kim Soo-min, now 28, joined SBS as part of the 24th open recruitment in 2018, becoming the youngest announcer in the network's history. She made headlines for her sudden resignation three years later and married a prosecutor five years her senior in 2022.
Last year, Kim was accepted into UCLA Law School and is currently balancing her studies and parenting with the support of her husband.
