T-ara's Soyeon Shares Dubai Life Update, Hints at Future Family Plans

Former T-ara member Soyeon has shared a glimpse into her life in Dubai.

On October 22, Soyeon posted a photo on her Instagram story with the caption, "I feel like I'll be making these chewy cookies for my grandchildren when they visit in the future." The photo shows Soyeon preparing a large amount of marshmallows to make chewy cookies, hinting at her future family plans by mentioning 'grandchildren.'

Soyeon married Jo Yu-min, a soccer player nine years her junior, in 2022 after three years of dating. The couple is currently childless.

Jo Yu-min transferred to Sharjah FC in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2024, prompting the couple's move to Dubai. At the time of his transfer, Sharjah FC paid a transfer fee of approximately 1.5 billion KRW (around $1.3 million USD), and Jo's salary is estimated to have increased to over 2 billion KRW (around $1.7 million USD) annually.
