Veteran Actress Kim Young-ran's Candid Remarks Stir Interest on YouTube

Veteran actress Kim Young-ran, celebrating her 50th year in the industry, has made headlines with her candid remarks.

Recently, the YouTube channel 'Real Actresses' featured a video titled '[Actress Lee Kyung-jin's Han River View Home Revealed] 70s and 80s Beauty Stars Gather as Trio YouTubers! 'Real' Actresses Kim Young-ran, Lee Kyung-jin, and Ahn So-young's Chaotic 'Han River View' Apartment Housewarming'.

In the video, Lee Kyung-jin invited fellow actresses Kim Young-ran and Ahn So-young to her home. While preparing food for her guests, she confessed, "I prefer eating out. Being a housewife is incredibly challenging, as tough as being a celebrity," adding, "If I can't put in the effort, it's better to eat out."

As a new YouTuber, Lee Kyung-jin expressed her excitement, "I've been thrilled since two days before the shoot. It feels like when we filmed 'Let's Live Together'. I was told my face didn't look good yesterday, so I try not to schedule anything the day before filming."

Upon visiting Lee Kyung-jin's home, Kim Young-ran and Ahn So-young admired the view, exclaiming, "What a great view!" When asked for a house tour, Lee Kyung-jin hesitated, saying, "I shouldn't reveal too much of my private life," but shared, "It's an old apartment remodeled 13 years ago. My older sister told me before she passed, 'Fix the house after I'm gone.'"

When Ahn So-young mentioned, "Men still like Kyung-jin," Kim Young-ran suggested, "Consider getting married." Lee Kyung-jin replied, "No, I prefer a friend-like companion, someone to play golf and travel with," to which Kim Young-ran quipped, "That's a boyfriend."

Lee Kyung-jin clarified, "Not someone to live with," and Kim Young-ran continued the playful banter, "But you sleep together on trips." Lee Kyung-jin laughed, "That's not the goal. At this age, is that really important? Golf can substitute for a boyfriend."

Lee Kyung-jin served her guests with 14K gold spoons, admitting, "I've never used them myself, but one set is missing," drawing attention.

Meanwhile, Kim Young-ran reminisced about past 'sample clothing' shoots, saying, "I wore them as long as I had time and got paid in cash." Lee Kyung-jin added, "It was a complete cash business. After shooting, I felt like I would collapse."

Joining the YouTube venture, Kim Young-ran confessed, "I'm tired of seeing my face on TV." Lee Kyung-jin responded, "Then don't watch. Everyone advised against trying YouTube, but there was nothing else to challenge."
