BTS's J-Hope Celebrates Birthday with Generous Donations Totaling 350 Million Won
BTS member J-Hope marked his birthday on February 18th by donating a total of 350 million won.

J-Hope contributed 200 million won to Seoul Asan Medical Center. The funds will be used to improve medical facilities and environments for pediatric patients, support home healthcare for critically ill children, and run psychological healing programs. Additionally, he donated 100 million won in scholarships for his alma mater's students through the child welfare organization Green Umbrella.

His philanthropy extended to animal welfare as well. He donated 50 million won to animal protection organizations, combining proceeds from the 'HUMAN HOPE: A JOOPITER Special' auction, a collaboration with Human Made, with his own funds. The donation will support the activities of 'Animal Rescue 119' and 'My Love Badugi with Pets'.

Through his agency, Big Hit Music, J-Hope expressed, "I'm grateful to be able to share meaningfully on my birthday. I wanted to offer some support to children receiving treatment, students pursuing their dreams, and animals in need. Thanks to the immense love and celebration from ARMY, I was able to do good deeds. I hope 2026 will be a hopeful and warm year for everyone."

J-Hope has consistently practiced philanthropy, with cumulative donations of 500 million won to Seoul Asan Medical Center. He is also a member of the 'Green Noble Trinity Club' at Green Umbrella, a group for donors who have contributed over 1 billion won.
