Former Rhythmic Gymnast Son Yeon-jae Shares Why She Won't Send Her Son to Preschool
Former rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae has revealed why she has decided not to send her son, born in 2024, to a childcare institution.

On the 12th, Son Yeon-jae's YouTube channel released a video titled 'VLOG: February Daily Life of Busy Yeon-jae Juggling Parenting, Rhythmic Gymnastics, and Moving Preparations.'

In the video, Son Yeon-jae shared updates about her son, Jun-yeon, while getting a skincare treatment. She expressed her affection for her son, saying, "Jun-yeon won't be going to kindergarten this year. It's not for educational purposes; he's just too adorable to send away."

She further explained, "My son hasn't started speaking yet. Boys can be a bit slower, but since other kids are doing well, he might feel stressed. So, I plan to provide home care and take him around to various places."

Son Yeon-jae hinted at the possibility of a second pregnancy, saying, "I finally feel like my clothes fit and I'm back to normal, but the thought of going back makes me hesitate a bit. I've announced my plans for a second child everywhere. I don't regret it. Knowing my personality, I talked about it more." She added with humor, "I'll focus on raising my child diligently and have fun later."

Meanwhile, after retiring from her athletic career, Son Yeon-jae married a financier nine years her senior and is currently running a rhythmic gymnastics class called 'Leaf Studio.'
