Melon Launches Pop-Up Event in Seoul to Celebrate 'Music Drawer' Revamp
Visitors to the pop-up space, located near Exit 3 of Seongsu Station, will have the opportunity to explore a variety of music records accumulated on Melon. Participants in the pop-up event will also gain access to Melon's exclusive listening room program.
The listening room at Seongsu Yul Music will feature four music themes: 'The Day My First Life Song Was Born,' 'Busy Showing Off My Favorite During School Breaks,' 'Songs Listened to While Peeling Tangerines in Cold Winter,' and 'Songs That Empowered Me in the Midst of Youth.' These themes will be available at different times throughout the event.
While enjoying the music, visitors can also explore the music records left on Melon by a total of 17 artists, including Kiki, BoyNextDoor (Seongho), AlphaDriveOne (Sangwon, Anshin), AllDay Project (Youngseo), and Car, the Garden.
As part of the 'Melon, The Era of Music Records Begins' campaign, the 'Music Record Awards' is also underway, highlighting data and records within Melon since October 10. Prizes have been awarded to users who made the first streaming records since the service launched on November 16, 2004.
Amidst the trend of music streaming platforms engaging users through offline experiences, Melon is taking a proactive approach. This move reflects the latest trend of specialized music listening spaces like Seongsu Yul Music and Yeonnam-dong Tilt gaining attention.
