Kim Eui-young Tops Poll as Most Desired Trot Singer for a Ski Trip Before the Snow Melts

Kim Eui-young has been voted as the number one female trot singer people want to go on a ski trip with before the snow melts.

From the 2nd to the 8th of this month, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer would you like to go on a ski trip with before the snow melts?'

Kim Eui-young secured the top spot. She graduated from Daejeon Arts High School and studied at Chung-Ang University's Department of Traditional Arts. She debuted as a trot singer and gained a solid fan base by finishing in the top 5 on TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 2'. During the show, Cho Young-soo praised her versatility, saying, "She seems capable of handling various genres beyond trot." Since then, she has been actively appearing on various entertainment programs like 'Miss Trot 2' and 'Immortal Songs'.

Kim Da-hyun came in second place. On the 4th, it was reported that she initiated civil and criminal proceedings against her former agency for unpaid appearance fees and related settlements. Kim Da-hyun's side stated, "Despite multiple requests for settlement since November last year, payments for Kim Da-hyun's appearance fees and other earnings from September to October 2025 have not been made." They added, "It has become difficult to expect a resolution through negotiation, and legal action was unavoidable to protect the mental stability and rights of the young teenage artist."

Jeon Yu-jin took third place. Recently, she was included in the first lineup for the OST of 'Prescribing Love', alongside Park Ji-hyun, Song Ga-in, and Jung Seo-joo. 'Prescribing Love' is a drama about two families entangled in a 30-year feud who resolve misunderstandings and heal each other's wounds to become one family. Nyam Nyam Entertainment stated, "The drama will be invigorated by songs performed by trot powerhouses like 'Mr. Trot 2' finalist Park Ji-hyun, 'Miss Trot' winner Song Ga-in, 'Current King' Jeon Yu-jin, and 'Miss Trot 3' winner Jung Seo-joo."

Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which female singer would you like to give chocolate to on Valentine's Day?', 'Which male singer would you like to give chocolate to on Valentine's Day?', 'Which female trot singer would you like to give chocolate to on Valentine's Day?', and 'Which male trot singer would you like to give chocolate to on Valentine's Day?'
