Broadcaster Min-sun Kwak Speaks Out on Naver Knowledge Leak Incident
On the 5th, Kwak shared on her Instagram story, "Ugh... This is truly a Naver embarrassment. My husband saw it and deleted the Knowledge post for me. I've never felt such shame before," along with a photo.
The photo revealed a Naver Knowledge answer screen from September 2007, presumed to be written by Kwak during her high school years. The content suggested she was giving advice, stating, 'Understanding and memorizing to make it your own knowledge is the quickest way to improve your grades.'
The Naver Knowledge leak incident occurred due to a system error when Naver added a 'Knowledge' button to personal profiles on the 4th. Past anonymous answers were linked to personal information, exposing the histories of famous politicians, businesspeople, and celebrities. Actor Sung-tae Heo was also affected.
As the controversy grew, Naver admitted on the 5th through a notice, "An error occurred during the Knowledge update process, revealing profile links in personal information." They further stated, "The issue was resolved around 10 PM on the 4th," and issued an official apology. Currently, all Knowledge links have been removed from personal information.
Meanwhile, Min-sun Kwak, born in 1992, is 33 years old and works as a broadcaster in the e-sports field. Min-kyu Song, born in 1999, is 26 years old, making him seven years younger than Kwak. The couple tied the knot last December.
