Actress Woo Da-bi has ended her brief stint with UAA and is now a free agent.

According to a report by TenAsia on the 6th, Woo Da-bi recently concluded her exclusive contract with UAA and is currently searching for a new agency. Woo Da-bi signed with UAA in May last year, but the contract was mutually terminated after just nine months.

A source told TenAsia, "Woo Da-bi and UAA have agreed to end their exclusive contract after discussions. UAA is assisting Woo Da-bi in finding a new agency and is arranging several meetings."

Woo Da-bi made her acting debut in 2019 with the web drama 'Triple Some 2' and has since appeared in various projects such as 'Extracurricular', 'Melancholia', and 'Maestra'. She gained significant recognition for her role as Hong Joo-ran in the 2024 tvN drama 'Jeong Nyeon'. Following her success in 'Jeong Nyeon', Woo Da-bi was cast as a supporting lead in the SBS drama 'Kiss Sixth Sense' (hereafter 'Kiss') last year, drawing attention once again.

In 'Kiss', Woo Da-bi played Yoo Ha-young, the youngest daughter of a distribution company chairman and the deputy director of an art hall. Her quirky yet lovable portrayal of a chaebol heiress captivated audiences. Yoo Ha-young, portrayed by Woo Da-bi, is engaged to Gong Ji-hyuk (played by Jang Ki-yong) and forms a love quadrangle with Go Da-rim (played by Ahn Eun-jin) and Kim Sun-woo (played by Kim Moo-jun). Her free-spirited personality and pure affection for single dad Kim Sun-woo earned her viewers' support. Thanks to her performance, Woo Da-bi received the Newcomer Award at the '2025 SBS Drama Awards', marking her first award since her debut in 2019, a significant achievement during her time with UAA.

As of last year, UAA was known to represent actors such as Song Hye-kyo, Yoo Ah-in, Kim Dae-myung, Ahn Eun-jin, Kim Da-mi, Jang Ki-yong, Woo Da-bi, and Ryu Jun-yeol. Being the youngest rising star among them, there is keen interest in which agency Woo Da-bi will join after parting ways with UAA.
