Ha Jung-woo Confirms Relationship with Cha Jung-won Amid Connections to Koo Jae-yi
Following the news of their romance, online communities have been abuzz with interest in the link between Ha Jung-woo's past public relationship with Koo Jae-yi and his current partner, Cha Jung-won. Koo Jae-yi and Cha Jung-won co-hosted the FashionN beauty program 'Follow Me Season 8' in March 2017.
Ha Jung-woo publicly dated Koo Jae-yi in 2009, and the couple parted ways in 2012 after three years together. Koo Jae-yi later married a professor from a French university in 2018 and has a son.
Meanwhile, Ha Jung-woo has acknowledged his relationship with Cha Jung-won, who is 11 years his junior, on the 4th. Ha Jung-woo's agency, Workhouse Company, told TenAsia, "Ha Jung-woo is currently dating someone," but added, "There are no plans for marriage at this time."
Born in 1978, Ha Jung-woo debuted in 2003 and has starred in films such as 'The Chaser,' 'Take Off,' 'Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time,' 'The Berlin File,' 'Assassination,' and the 'Along with the Gods' series. He has also directed films like 'Fasten Your Seatbelt,' 'Chronicle of a Blood Merchant,' 'The Closet,' and 'The Neighbors.' Ha Jung-woo will return to the small screen with the new tvN weekend drama 'How to Become a Landlord in Korea,' premiering on the 14th of next month.
Cha Jung-won, born in 1989, is 11 years younger than Ha Jung-woo. She made her debut in the 2012 film 'Horror Stories' and has appeared in dramas such as 'She Was Pretty,' 'Wednesday 3:30 PM,' 'While You Were Sleeping,' 'Special Labor Inspector Jo,' 'Eccentric! Chef Moon,' and the film 'Collapse.'
