Kang Na-eon Joins 'Unique Romance' Amidst Public Relationship with Actor Kim Woo-seok
Kang Na-eon has been confirmed to play the role of Joo Da-hong in the new drama 'Unique Romance', produced by Corpus Korea (directed by Kim Jin-young, written by Jeon Hyun-mi, produced by Corpus Korea, based on the Naver webtoon 'Unique Romance' by author Dubu).
The drama follows the unexpected romance between Gong Yoo-il (played by Park Soo-young), an ordinary job seeker who becomes the manager of top star Tak Moo-i (played by Kim Hyun-jin), who hides his pain from being stalked. It is based on the popular Naver webtoon, which won the grand prize at the 2017 Naver Webtoon Youth Romance Contest and has been serialized in English, Japanese, and other languages, amassing approximately 390 million global views and a rating of 9.98.
As Gong Yoo-il, an ordinary person, emerges as a rival next to her ideal groom, Tak Moo-i, Joo Da-hong will reveal a change in her feelings. The chemistry between Tak Moo-i and the rivalry with Gong Yoo-il is expected to captivate viewers.
Kang Na-eon made her debut in the 2022 drama 'Blind' and gained attention as Bang Soo-ah in the following year's 'Crash Course in Romance'. She has since showcased her deep acting skills and delicate expressions in various works, including 'Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938', 'Wedding Impossible', 'Pyramid Game', '0th Period is Insider Time', and 'Mary Kills People', earning her the title of a 'trustworthy rookie'.
Meanwhile, 'Unique Romance' is currently in production.
