K-Pop Star Kim Da-hyun Files Lawsuit Against Former Agency Over Unpaid Earnings
K-Pop singer Kim Da-hyun has initiated civil and criminal legal proceedings against her former agency.

On the 4th, Kim Da-hyun's representatives stated, "Despite multiple requests for settlement since November last year, the former agency has failed to pay Kim Da-hyun's appearance fees and other earnings from events since September-October 2025."

They further added, "It is no longer feasible to expect a resolution through negotiation. To protect the mental well-being and rights of the young teenage artist, we are proceeding with legal action."

At the end of last month, Kim Da-hyun's team filed for a payment order for unpaid settlements and initiated seizure procedures at the Seoul Central District Court. Earlier this month, they submitted a complaint to the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul, accusing the agency's representatives of fraud and embezzlement.

Kim Da-hyun terminated her contract with the former agency due to breach of contract and a breakdown in trust. She has since continued her music career with Hyun Company since late November last year.
