Actress Jung Si-ah Proudly Showcases Her Daughter's Artistic Talent at Seoul International Sculpture Festa
On the 30th, the YouTube channel 'Jung Si-ah Asi Jung' released a video titled 'Jung Si-ah's Daughter Proves Her Genius in Art, Participates in LA-Level Exhibition!'.
In the video, Jung Si-ah attended the 2026 Seoul International Sculpture Festa Preview with her daughter, Baek Seo-woo. She proudly announced, "My daughter has submitted three pieces and has been selected as the youngest artist. It will be a great experience for her."
Jung Si-ah inquired about the titles and meanings of her daughter's artworks, asking if her name was intentionally included in one of the titles. Seo-woo replied, "It wasn't intentional." However, the academy representative later revealed, "She was pleased that her mom's name was included," bringing a warm smile to everyone.
Seo-woo, who completed her submissions in just three days, stated, "If I wasn't satisfied with the work, I wouldn't have submitted it. It's fascinating how art can change a person and make them mature." Yet, she also showed her youthful side, saying, "I want to go home and relax."
Acknowledging her daughter's artistic flair, Seo-woo shared, "I think I've been influenced a lot by my dad. He has a beautiful inner world and a certain sensitivity. While I've been influenced by living with my mom, I have many conversations with my dad." She expressed her ambitions, saying, "I have many dreams. I want to explore everything related to art, including visual arts, writing, children's book illustrations, interior design, and fashion design."
Jung Si-ah, watching her daughter who is yet to decide on selling her works, said, "I feel prouder and happier than when I succeed. It's like the saying 'I'm full without eating.'"
Meanwhile, Jung Si-ah married Baek Do-bin, the son of actor Baek Yoon-sik, in 2009, and they have a son and a daughter. Their daughter, Seo-woo, attends Yewon Middle School, while their son, Jun-woo, is pursuing a career as a professional basketball player.
